"The System"
After the Steve Gibbons Band called it a day in 1979 the 2 guitar players Bob Wilson and Dave Carroll and drummer Bob Lamb decided to re-group and form a three piece band called The System.

Bob Lamb had moved into record production and had success with UB40 which enabled him to build a studio and form a record label called Romantic.

The System recorded a single Sixty Watt Pearl and an album The System released on Romantic. The album received acclaim in the UK and particularly in Europe.

An eclectic collection of songs and instrumentals all written by the band members resulting in a fascinating and compelling album.
